LDC were evaluating in acquiring the Hill Biscuit Company, a UK manufacturer of Everyday Biscuits sold under the Hill brand and supplied as own label for discounters. We analysed the market development for the specific channels and segments that Hill operated in and identified growth characteristics in the market.
We reviewed the management plan and recommended a switch in emphasis toward operations improvement and modernisation in the facilities. We then worked with management to develop an Operations Improvement plan which could reduce costs and develop a more robust profit improvement plan for the company. LDC acquired the business in April 2017
